CEREMONY
Our love ritual will take place in an abandoned church - Källa Gamla Kyrka (Källa Old Church). Källa, the small village where the church is located, means 'well' in Swedish. The village's name refers to a holy well located on the church grounds. Before Christianity, pagan rituals were held at this site for centuries. The church was later built here in the 1100's and served many different functions for the local community before eventually being abandoned in 1880.
The ceremony will start at 3:00pm.
RECEPTION
Our love celebration will be at a 1700s Inn - Södviks Gästgivaregård. We will gather for drinks in the garden after the ceremony, before moving into the old stone barn for dinner and dancing. The famous Swedish botanist Carl von Linné, known as the father of modern taxonomy, stayed at this inn in 1741.

FOOD
The wedding will be catered by a local restaurant that uses seasonal ingredients from local farms. Carnivores, omnivores and herbivores are all welcome :)
SPEECHES
We understand that almost all of our guests will want to pay tribute to our relationship through the medium of spoken word. If this is you then please plead your case with our lovely toastmaster, and best friend of Julianna, Lisette (lisettehelenalansryd@gmail.com).
GIFTS
We of course appreciate any gifts, big or small, but please don't feel obliged to get us something as your presence is a present (and this is a destination wedding after all!).
If you are planning to get a gift then stay tuned as we will likely set up a gift registry when we have a free evening ;)
THINGS TO DO
This section will also be updated on that free evening!
